The 2 GOAT Underrated muhfukkas
First up. My favorite comic book muhfukka of all time. The human mothafukkin ROCKET. Richard Rider
I love Rider for the same reason I pretty much love the next guy. Some minor backstory for the uninitiated. Spent most of the past 40 years in comic books being kinda a joke. Well, Rider wasn't a joke, he was just kind of a weaker, should probably team up with folks, sort of dude. Then in 2005 with the start of Annihilation, when every single Nova Corps member besides himself was killed by the Annihilation Wave, all of the power that would have been diverted to them was sent to Rider. since he was literally the last Nova. AKA he turned into a bad bad man.
I mean, if they covered Annihilation, they already have the GOTG set up. They have Thanos getting ready to take that L in the Infinity War movies. Perfect set up for him to be Annihilus's flunky in the Annihilation Wars. I mean, we would be missing some key members of the story like Ronan (dead), Super Skrull(?), and Silver Surfer (Fox). But yo. They made fukking Tony Stark create goddamn Ultron. They can figure something out. I have GOT to see Nova on the big screen at some point. Maybe not even the big screen. Richard Rider protecting the galaxy, dealing with the Nova Corps, would be a fukking beautiful series on Netflix or something. Budget might be nuts tho..

The greatest hero the world has never heard of. I mean, Dan Jurgens' Booster Gold run is honestly one of my favorite comic book arcs of all time. As you can probably tell, I like how some writers can take seemingly worthless heroes and make them extremely important. Not like heroes that just stepped on the scene and did a quick 180. Booster Gold has been a joke since pretty much his inception. More or less. Just a money hungry guy from the future who stole a bunch of gear from a super hero museum and traveled back in time to seek fame. Thanks to Rip Hunter, he became a time travelling, reality saving, goddamn LEGEND. I've finished bout half a pint since I started writing this so I need to stop cause a nikka gotta get jiggy. But I'm tryna hear what ya'll think.
