What on earth happened to Dej Loaf?

2014 was a long time ago. “Try Me” was the breakout hit which provided her the opportunity to put out other singles with vary levels of success. My question is why has she fell off the way she has?

She is very pretty
She has the image
She makes the sing songy shyt people enjoy

Yet her & her label has been quiet. I know she shot some video where she was in a field that didn’t take off recently...what happened?

She fell back too long after dropping that dope EP that had hits & prominent features in 2015. Went quiet in 2016 and everybody took her lane mainstream.

But her & Jacquees' mixtape "fukk A Friend Zone" was one of the hottest mixtapes with the young crowd with multiple songs with million plays off it. The mixtape was so big that "At The Club" became a radio hit and plenty more still could be.

Play this at a college or HS party and it's going down


She just needs to get back focused cus the relationship with Durk threw her all the way off track. She's gone real left field now and I dunno if she can get back on track, especially not following up properly to the Jacquees mixtape.



She doesn't seem to know if she's gonna be straight and go after the urban crowd or weird and try to be another Janelle Monae. The latter aint gonna pop.
