NBA reports five incorrect calls against Hawks in loss to Warriors

The Hawks were hurt by five incorrect calls in the final two minutes and overtime of Tuesday’s 109-105 loss to the Warriors, according to the NBA. The errors led to six Warriors’ points. Two incorrect calls resulted in four points, all free throws by Klay Thompson, and one incorrect non-call led to an Andrew Bogut put-back basket.

The league issued its Last Two Minute Report on the game Wednesday and revealed the findings of their review.

According to the report:

* Paul Millsap did not foul Thompson with 47.6 remaining in regulation and the Hawks holding a 97-95 lead. It was deemed an incorrect call. The report stated: “Millsap (ATL) maintains legal guarding position as he defends Thompson’s (GSW) driving layup attempt. Any contact on the play is initiated by Thompson.” Thompson made two free throws to tie the game.

* Al Horford did not foul Thompson with 3:56 remaining in overtime and the game tied 97-97. It was deemed an incorrect call as Thompson clearly slipped on the drive. The report stated: “Horford (ATL) maintains a legal guarding position on the drive to the basket and shot attempt by Thompson (GSW). Thompson slips and falls on the drive to the basket, and not as a result of any contact initiated by Horford.” Thompson made two free throws to give the Warriors the lead.

* Draymond Green should have been called for a travel violation with 3:17 left in overtime and the score tied 99-99. The play was deemed an incorrect non-call. The report states: “Green (GSW) splits his feet on the perimeter at the start of his drive.” Green turned the ball over two seconds later.

* Millsap was fouled by Bogut with 1:52 left in overtime and the Warriors leading 102-101. The play was deemed an incorrect non-call. The report states: “Bogut (GSW) dislodges Millsap (ATL) affecting his ability to retrieve the rebound.” Bogut put back the rebound for a basket to give the Warriors a 104-101.

* Millsap was fouled by Shaun Livingston with 1:06 left in overtime and the Warriors leading 104-101. The play was deemed an incorrect non-call. The report states: “Livingston (GSW) makes contact with Millsap’s (ATL) body and head during his layup attempt.” Millsap scored on a layup a second later to pull the Hawks within a point.

The report found one call that went against the Warriors.

* Horford should have been called for travelling with 1:55 remaining in regulation and the Warriors leading 95-90. The play was deemed an incorrect non-call. The report states: “Horford (ATL) changes his pivot foot after securing the pass.” Kyle Korver hit a 3-pointer 10 seconds later to cut the Hawks deficit to two points.

NFL admits wrong calls were made a day or two after the games all the time. Calls that absolutely help decide the game too. Officials are so bad in every sport it's ridiculous.

And you can't even complain about that shyt either or you'll get fined :russ:

Referees are so god damn protected it's insane.
