What a person sold twenty years ago doesn't correlate to selling out stadiums nowadays

He just did a stadium tour which is like the second highest grossing of all time and top ten across music as a whole. 50s name carries weight. Which is nice to see. We need to give our heavyweights their flowers more often

No they weren’t. But they were arenas/pavilion type venues.

Stadiums are much larger….like 50-70K people. Arenas are like 15-20K.

Not saying he couldn’t pull off stadiums because even doing arenas is amazing IMO.

People hate on 50 but that tour was a success and even current artists can’t sell those kinds of tickets lol

No they weren’t. But they were arenas/pavilion type venues.
