Pretty much every pair of Jordan's in the 90s, but we were poor so my mom was definitely like NO.

These in particular in 1995/1996, though:

Doc did me a solid.
I was jnjured in some kareem's.
When the jordan two was out and had to get my own.

Then later when my foot was still fukked up.
They changed the sky jordan sizing on the three. So i had to get the softback three's as a shawty. When sky jordans on the three scaled up sizing. So on rhe jordan i..
I got sky jordans. But my foot grew to a six. And i could get air jordans. Which was a price hike to 65 from 35. On the jordan two. I had a size six and they were sized for air jordans. Where the two created all this shyt. Where my foot was sized for an air jordan.
at the original first air jordan price hike to 100. So i had to use my gi joe air craft money.
to get the two.

On the three. The sizing went up a size to sky jordans. So you needed a seven and a half.
or some shyt.
to get a pair of the real nike air hard letters on rhe back Of fhe air jordan three.
So i had to get a soft back three. With no air bubble.

I felt so defeated from that shyt. Yet the three in any form got love tho. Then almost overnight. I woke up and my feet just fukking hurt like hell. I kept telling my mom.
My fukkin feet hurt like supa bad.

She kinda ignored that shyt. Till i kept nag'n about my feet hurt bad.
My shyt was on fye.

She took me to rhe doctor.
in some doctor scholl's the wooden shyts. The doctor was like hol'up.

Pulled out the metric foot measurement. Then was like no wonder your feet hurt. You are a size ten and a half in a seven.

Moms was like wtf. I was like wtf.
Doctor was like. If you want him to heal properly from this injury hoopin. I have to prescribe him Some shoes.

Doctor comes out and is like.

YOU NEED TO BUY THIS KID.
THE MOST ADVANCED PODIATRIST SHOE ON THE MARKET.
.THE AIR JORDAN 3.

nikka!!!!

Now she gotta buy me jordans.

On the doctors orders.

Hell yeah.

nikka,....it was comedy watching her squirm.
Sohh we go to footlocker.
No jordans of course. This was way after the three dropped. Sohh footlocker was sold out.
plus Moms like i hate footlocker. We leaving and going to jc penny.
I am like damn not gon get no jordans.
I think.
she thought she got away with this shyt. As back then jc penny only had the new la gear. When they were hot.
We walk all the way in the back to the shoe section. That was around a long corner partition.

Then at the top of the partition around rhe corner.

AIR JORDAN THREE BLACK CEMENTS.

couldn't tell me nuffin.

She had to buy that shyt.
or risk me being a hobble.

Went from wooden doctor scholl and my feet hurting.
to an upgrade from sky jordans to air jordans .

One of the happiest trips to jc penny ever.
That for the longest no one knew jc penny had jordans. All the way in the back at river oaks mall back in the day.

My Iverson collection now is ridiculous because of my love for them as a youngster lol. Them Dee Brown Reebok pumps/Iverson crossovers :ohlawd:

To answer the thread though, I had to have the Deion joints. Got two pairs at the same time :wow:

None. I accepted what I received as a child when it came to clothing. My childhood had too many problems I had to deal with to worry about what sort of clothing I had.

When I moved to Baltimore, my grandmother gave me money to purchase what I wanted every end of summer before school started. I also augmented that with jobs I had, and money I received from holidays and birthdays. A completely different existence under my grandmother, and I am absolutely thankful she accepted my return to Baltimore as a teenager.

My dad would buy my shoes for me. It was our thing to go to Footlocker. Try on the shoes and buy one pair for school and one pair for basketball games.

I vividly remember in third grade. He specifically told me not to bring my Jordan 8s to school…

Of course, we got them on Saturday, Monday I brought those bytches to school to show my friends… :russ:

As soon as I pulled them out of my backpack, guess who is walking through the gate to pick me up?…:francis:

Pops whooped my ass that night and took the shoes back. And I never got the white Jordan 8s again.

Wait you didn't rock them....you Brought them in your backpack man what :russ:

The Truth
Never really asked my moms for shyt.

I asked my pops for the AI3’s in all black because the middle school I was in had uniforms, but thats the only thing I think I ever asked from them clothes wise.

By the time I cared about fashion I worked and just bought stuff myself. But was never a fashion head really. Just solid colors and nice fitting things

Got a bunch of collectibles I keep in storage but still never even wore most of them
