What percent of the roster do you think don't care about a push?

If it's a big percentage then that's a problem
I think Owen Hart was a good example of this. All kind of nikkas go on about "Owen shoulda gotten the WWE title; he was the best Hart; he was better than Bret; he should have been pushed more".......all of which may have been true.....and yet Owen was reportedly just saving up his money so that he could leave wrestling, retire and chill with his family. Owen wasn't fiending for a push like that, and even went along with the bullshyt 'punishment' Blue Blazer gimmick........most likely with the mentality of "whatever; as long as I get paid"
And we saw how that ended.
That was one of the times when being stubborn and not being easygoing would have been a positive thing.JoogJoint

Exaaaaaaactly.... nikkas think the "push" they want is about being mad that their character doesn't have better placement, the reality is they do want to be pushed, but it's because of money. The better you're positioned, the more money you make.
This is also why Cena don't care at this point...the title doesn't make him more money, him being on TV with a new hat and shirt does.
Also why Scott hall probably did more jobs than anyone in the 90s; he was gettin paid fat regardless and it didn't affect his draw

Pretty much, all of the talk about traveling and seeing the world is kind of naive. These guys are grinding on the road 250 plus days a year, there's no fun or enjoyment in that. Just having a regular job where you travel all the time is wearisome, but when you throw in the fact that these guys are beating their bodies up non-stop it's just ridiculously brutal.
At the end of the day it's a job, and everybody wants to make as much money as possible. And the only way to do that is if you're being pushed and relevant on the card.
