Music or movies?

Give me one specific example of when it happened last.

I'm an emotional ass dude myself so I tend to go deep with both music and movies.

Last time either one moved me was last night I watched a movie called 'shrink' with Kevin spacey. Good flick. Couple subject matters got me to engage emphatically.

So... ?

Movies. Kinda unfair though because an emotional movie scene has all the visuals and actor performances PLUS music.

Music can stir emotion, but not on this level. For me at least.

edit: But again, there is music in this scene doing a LOT of the work to get emotion across.

Music. I am just getting into house music, and I actually enjoy it. Movies are cool, but music makes me think about the past, present, and future. I also like listening to Earth Sounds even though most would not consider it music. I like earth sounds for meditation and yoga.

Music definitely. Music and I connect on a level that no one could really understand. Its certain songs that trigger certain memories. One instance is I heard caravan of love by the isley brothers and instantly thought about my momma and her dancing to it when I was little.

Movies in general. Something about your senses being directed solely on that media alone opens me up more.

So if there is a particular scene that is without a score/music... The way the story is shot is most important? Or the particular point in the movie?

I'm just curious.

I fully believe in the fact that music for certain people... Is indeed a time machine.

Sounds corny but it is undeniably confirmed musical fact by Cleveland. Lol

:lolbron::troll:

Nah no joke. I feel the same way. I can listen to a song released in 1991 and know where I was and what I was doing. Maybe not exact details but shyt...

Music is my DeLorean.

The point in the movie. Personally, because I'm sitting in a dark theater my mind kind connect more with the movie.
Honestly i can get misty at movies as as fukk. It's one of the few times I really can disconnect and focus.

I'm scatterbrain enough where music can fade into the background to easily.
