they are. Can’t preach it enough, those 90s-early 2000s Honda and Toyota whips are tanks. They Don’t look to bad either for 20+ year old cars, timeless designs that aged well

First unexpected repair in almost a year of ownership . CV axle boot is torn and throwing grease everywhere, was going to reboot + regrease but I said fukk it I’ll just put a new axle in.

All facts. But man I gotta be honest, I don’t want to learn now. I paid for the full warranty for a reason lol. Let the experts handle it
Fam everything is on YouTube or car forums. I did engine work last summer(valve cover gaskets, timing belt, water pump, tensioners etc).Must be nice knowing how to work on vehicles
Had no fukking clue what I was doing. Studied YouTube videos for a few days, read forums. Did all that shyt in under 48 hours.
Yeah tbh, of all the trades I know, I like working on cars the least lol. I usually just end up doing the work myself because I don't like having to wait on the guys at my friend's shop to pencil me in to their schedules. If they're available in a reasonable amount of time, I usually toss the work their way instead of doing it myself though. It's pretty amazing how much you can get done with some floor jacks, a cheap socket set and a little bit of elbow grease however.

Yeah, all of those are clutch and can save you a lot of time and energy. I always save various pieces of metal pipes i come across and keep them around as makeshift breakers in case I need one. Pickle forks are good to have too.
This Mexican dude I had do my ball joints left his pickle fork underneath my whip. Kept it and he never came back to get it
