So what rule or rules do you wanna see changed going forward?

The one rule that I always hated was the shot clock rule. I don’t see why they blow the whistle and penalize a team for playing great defense and forcing a air ball, 9 out of 10 times its a fast break and they blow the whistle dead

I really wish they would change that rule

Yeah they should change that.

I also hate the lazy "foul to prevent a break" foul where a team is on the run and the other team just grabs them. They already have clear path but this is basically the same thing just with a defender back. Should be one shot plus the ball.

Flops that are obvious flops (i.e. Curry defense) should be techs. They claimed they were gonna do this a few years ago and then just never did.

Jumping into players for a foul.. it should be offensive fouls for doing that. Just because a player jumps straight up, doesnt mean you can jump into him and shoot... shyt stupid

clarify that all contact is not a foul

so defenders can really lock.up on opponents

& kill the zone committed defense only

no standing in the gaps just obstructing lanes

balance it out so that slashing & post.play isn't mitigated in favor of the 3ball

put all styles of play on a even plane

To me this is the easiest one that definitely needs changing. If the offensive player makes an unnatural move to cause contact it should be an offensive foul.

My three changes go hand in hand. I'd like to either see them adopt a rule where if a player gets more than 6 personal fouls every foul after comes with a technical foul. I hate how foul trouble can completely alter the course of a game. I'd like something that would make coaches willing to keep important players in the game early on if they get into foul trouble. Plus it sucks as a fan going to see a star player and they only end up playing 20 minutes or so due to foul trouble.

The other rules would be that I'd like there to be a 4th official that has access to replays. For questionable calls they get 10-15 seconds max to view a quick replay and make a judgment call on the close plays, that way it wouldn't slow the game down too much. Just makes no sense that while the refs are standing there debating a call they can't use the replay that's showing in the arena. That would help lower missed calls due to no refs having a good angle on a play. The last rule would be for the 4th official to have the ability to rescind a foul call during live play. It goes back to above where a team can get completely handicapped due to a bad foul call. I'd like that 4th official to be able to go back and wipe a foul off the books if it was considered to not be a foul. I know the last couple would never happen but I'd love it.

I think that the corner 3 should be eliminated. First of all, its a foot and a half shorter shot for the same value, so thats not right. Also, the way the game is played now, every possession just has 2-3 guys standing in the corner heaving terrible shots. Not enough room in the corner forces players to work on driving more the to hoop, or a mid range game, since there isnt enough room at the top of the key to have 3-4 players standing around.

The shooter jumping into the defender should be an auto offensive foul too.

The main one is the review process. They know the call already, should be a 24 second clock on the review table too and then the monitor shuts off.
