What should the Democrats prioritize if they take the WH and Senate?

Voted for a Republican as our state's treasurer because he seemed more willing to address fiscal deficits in a way that made sense to me. His democrat counterpart was all talk no substance

heres what im thinking on the approach:

first thing you propose is making DC a state. the republicans obviously refuse

at that point you get rid of the filibuster. they're gonna need an initial issue, doesnt have to be DC but a reasonable proposal that the republicans obstruct

and then you just go hard on shyt like making election day a holiday, stimulus checks, and a bunch of bills that most of the country will LIKE. not partisan shyt, but popular shyt. and obviously add judges, but maybe a year or so into it so it's not seen as some hostile takeover but the dems still get what they want

I mean there are states with under 500,000 residents living in them that have 2 senators while states with 10-40 million people also have 2. A county in New York's equivalent shouldn't have 2 senators while the whole state of New York has 2.

It's not equal representation. Just because it has the appearance of being equal doesn't make it so. It favors those small population states disproportionatly.

New England has a bunch of Little states.

Out of the 4 most populous states, there are 4 D senators and 4 R senators

The Senate also saved the Dems a bit in the 2010s. The House under Trump voted on repealing Obamacare.
