I'd make a poll, but theirs too many damn options.

I used Fruity Loops for years and years after me and my production partner stopped using the MPC 2000 for sequencing.

I made the switch to Ableton last summer and am loving life now.

Anyone else using this?

What else is everybody using?

This!

My buddy had like sessions with me on learning it (Ableton Studio 8), mainly because it's set up so much different than FL.

Once you figure it out though, its fukking great. I set up my
mpk25_web_med.png
in like 10 seconds and can just open a track, scroll through VST's, throw it in and start playing.

Good program.

Damn, Acid? HAHA, I haven't opened that in a decade!

It's just a sequencer anyways, so who really cares?

:ld:

I got FL and Reason but I been on Acid and Sound Forge since 95 to lazy to learn the other programs my homie been trying to teach me Reason for years

Learning a new program is fukking hard, that's the truth.

I remember when I first learned fruityloops, I used to use Goldwave to chop up samples, lol. Now that I know Ableton I'm like, wtf was I doing all those years???

Mainly use Logic Pro 9 with MPC or keyboard usually in tandem.

I've had stints with my MPC's, FLStudio, Ableton Live, Cubase, Acid Pro, and Reason tho :ahh:

That's the sad part I usually pick up shyt quick when I first started all I did was use samples I was like P. Diddy but when I found Beatclub on that other site I learned to manipulate them I still play em straight out depending on how I want the beat, when I was younger I wanted to be a big time producer but now it's just a hobby I guess that's why I don't take the time to learn anything new.

Logic 9 n a MPC

Honestly ya DAW dont matter, they all pretty much do the same thing, its what plug-ins n VSTs you use that really make the difference.

I like to remix tracks and make extended remixes for songs.

I use FL to make the drum patterns, and ACID to mix the instrumentals and everything. But when i downloaded Ableton i was like :ooh::lawd:
The possibilities of remixing tracks are endless with ableton.
