I dont know but how much is produced out of the NYC metro area? People generally only mention the metro but does upstate give yall talent like that? I ask because I don't know shyt about the state or city.. Genuinely curious.. No bullshyt... Like Shaun Livington from like Peoria which is far as fukk from Chicago... School me lol

For me personally, I consider NYC and some surrounding areas in NY like Westchester county and Long Island to be part of NYC. Bunch of ball players come from the Westchester area like Elton Brand and a few from long Island like Danny Green.

But we could also include the Tri-State area which includes NYC, Jersey and Connecticut. Jersey has produced a bunch of players and stars such as Kyrie, Shaq, Towns, Jr Smith, MKG. I don't usually claim players from up north NY like Albany or Buffalo, I let them have it.

For basketball, It looks like California 1, Texas 2, Illinois 3, NC 4, Florida/NJ close for 5 going off the current NBA players
