This. I work in an accounting department and I can't tell you how much I'm annoyed at check writing in 2020. Like this ain't the 1960's why the fukk do you have to take a piece of paper to the bank

Yea cause game streaming, dealing with input lag, having to worry about you ISP throttling or capping you internet, not being able to play your games if you dont have internet service will certainly overtake gaming consoles. This shyt is not gonna overtake playing digitally downloaded or physical games on gaming consoles or PC. like I said goofy

If they start building TVs like computers and phones (which are really computers anyway) where they have large amounts of memory/storage it could certainly make consoles obsolete. The tv would just replace the console. I don’t see that big of a transition happening in 10 years though.

Honestly, that should be the wave instead crap like curved TVs. Figure out how to replace home computers and gaming consoles by replacing it with essentially an all-in-one computer that also has full tv functionality.

Edit: What if the PS6 was a tv?

They already tried something similar with that phone/gaming console/PlayStation controller that they made several years back.
