I've said it many times before that as much as Republicans go on about cleaning up the immigration situation in the country, they'll never truly fix the situation because that's their #1 defining talking point every election season, that's their main crutch in terms of politics.
They don't have much other agendas to run on, especially none that help people, as in the average person walking down the street, since they're often against social programs, etc. Everybody with sense knows whenever Conservatives take over Washington, everything, especially economically speaking goes to shyt and things start tightening up.
As op pointed out, everything price-wise goes up, food, healthcare, gas, homeownership, etc and becomes unaffordable for the average person, one'll be either broke, hungry, and suffering, or all of the above with them in the office.

Also if you go to their home countries they have INDUSTRY PROTECTIONISM-- which means NATIVES GET JOBS FIRST. Yet a couple canadians and something-gens contributed to demonizing us and got something that was to make sure we didnt get discriminated against taken away.
