It started as a form of companionship for ppl that were eating alone in Korea

Eventually YouTubers like Trisha Paytas shifted it to stream of consciousness musings and gossip mixed with the spectacle of their gluttony

It the same thing as eating with someone irl....half the time I'm not even paying attention to them eating after a few minutes...I'm just listening to whatever topic they are discussing
The eating novelty is over for me at this point (its not like they are a new trend lol) but I just be seeing what they are talking bout
