Covid fukked up the production, not only the alcohol, but the maker of the glass bottles have been impacted

I still see some bottles of the masters blend around though.

most folks who drink Reggie henny ain’t gon fukk with the masters blend, for price and taste

I was at this spot called Total Wine last weekend and this white lady was schooling me on how trash most marketed champagne is from Cristal, to Belaire, Cliquot. She said they all are overpriced. Said the best champagne is Grand Cru and showed me all the champagnes classed as Grand Cru and their prices compared to Cliquot and all the other marketed stuff that isn't.

It’s true, I’ve tried most of the high end, i can’t front on cris, but moett does it for me, for price and taste the regular baseline moett does it. But had a homie who worked in a warehouse for liquors, he said ace of spade used to be under a different name and cost 26 bucks, rebrand get the gold bottles and up the price now they 300, I’ll never buy one, even though i can afford it, because it’s an overpriced 26 dollar bottle of champagne

There are other good yaks out there but brand loyalty got nikkas in a choke hold, i got some cognac from Costco shyt slap

Started years ago got accelerated during COVID-19

In April, LVMH announced in an earnings report press release that “Hennessy Cognac saw volumes increase significantly which could impact the availability of stocks for the rest of the year.” It grew between 15 to 20 percent over the past three years, mostly on the back of its entry V.S. bottling. In the U.S., more than 80 percent of Hennessy’s sales come from V.S., and those sales increased 30 percent in the measured three year growth period.

More than 98 percent of Cognac is exported, according to the BNIC, and 2017 had the highest volume and value of export ever. More than 40 percent of those exports went to North America, so when things scale back, it’s highly noticeable in the U.S.

Now its light brown u can see through the bottle and it dont have that thickness to it.. People been saying its fake Remy going around too. You bettter off getting the henny privilege, shyt its about the same price anyway..they want like $25 for a pint of henny now. shyt use to be $17

i usually gift “higher tier” Henny to ppl who I know are drinkers. They normally say how much better/smoother it is, but after it runs out they’re back to drinking the vs.

I think it’s the fact that people run through bottles that makes them feel like it’s not worth it to them to buy anything else.

I was the same way, but then i realized nah i was tripping, so i drink Johnny Walker and Crown, but when you drink Johnny Walker black and up, i only do red if I’m at a party or bar and that’s all they have, same with crown, I do crown reserve again, if given no choice i will do regular, but once you do better you can’t go back, because you appreciate the smoothness, and it takes less to get you there

Landed in the Bahamas last Thursday, they’re loaded on Henny and pure white henny and it’s surprisingly cheaper. They sell bottles right at the airport :russ: I don’t drink tho so it means nothing to me

beyond overrated. i have to specify that im i mean henny VS but that shyt is trash
VS & white are trash to me. The Henny black is probably on that same level to me.

If I could find the Masters blend all the time then I would stick with that. . I like that better than the XO. Privilege is what I go with bc most of the time it's in stock. I'm not dropping $200 for a bottle of XO on the reg.

Of course if I could afford the paradis every time I wanted drink I'd cop that all the time.

I copped a cognac called Fanny Fougerat last year in France that was really good too.

Edit-speaking like I still drink but I recently quit lol
