Are you the type that likes to keep busy at your job?
Want a job that pays real well and don't mind being bored ?
Do you have to do something you like?

I like a job that keeps me busy as long as pay is decent and i can live and i have a chance to move up I also would have to like it though I would really like to start my own business someday but gotta get funds right.

I was at work talking to a few co workers and this one dude said he would take a job that pays like 11hrly as long as he's busy instead of say a security job that would pay you 18hrly cause its boring and I'm like :what: but i guess to each his own.

i used to put in 110% and try to do more than i am paid for. perfect attendance most years and low medical costs to the company due to good personal health habits. read and studied all communication from the company honchos(chairman, ceo, officers) and made my immediate supervisor and his boss look good. also, always tried to made cordial and friendly bonds with company clients and customers. always kept the company's bottom line in perspective.

now reviewing plans to reenter entrepreneurship

Reminds me for one of my yearly reviews, my supervisor was some chick that wanted someone to kiss her ass and be her best friend and go leaps and bounds above my job title. I dont got time for that shyt. She was trying to get me written up for that shyt too.

Supervisor: Flexo, im going to be honest with you, you seem to do the minimal work possible. Basically, you only do what your asked and thats it. Other technicians are going above and beyond their role and your not.

Me: Doesn't the job description say im only responsible for these things and thats it?

Supervisor: Technically, yes.

Me: :dahell: Then that's what you getting. I aint got time for all that other mess, as long as im meeting, im good, what do i look like? a sucker?

Supervisor: :dwillhuh:

i feel ya on those type of bosses..... my last two years i didn't have one. me and another breh ran the dept with no supervisor or manager. :blessed: big boss sat at home and murked (fired) people when we put the hit out on slackers on the team

see im a different type of worker than that even though i feel you but your probably comfortable and secure at your job and content with your position but I like learning shyt so if i have to do my job and my supervisor job ill do it for a while until i don't get promoted or i can use what i learned to get a better position thats what im talking about thats building your resume i use shyt on it looking like I'm a manager if I'm doing those things
