As to CJ Beathard his biggest weakness has been holding on to the ball too long and he has a much stronger arm than Mullens. Basically, if he throws the ball within 3 seconds, he should be ok.

Or even just keep running horizontal run plays until their D-Line starts vomiting, we have 4 rbs and Aiyuk can make plays from there. Their D line was exhausted in the 3rd quarter and we bailed them out.

Well I knew that was gonna be a tough game so it is what it is. Mullens really blew it big time. That pick 6 was hilariously bad, one of the worst picks I’ve ever seen, but that first one when we were in the red zone was a real back breaker. We could’ve built some momentum but nawl he throws a Favre-esque pick that was infuriating to see. His first two throws of the game were ass too, missed two wide open targets.

btw I hate Beathard, hate em, and he looked like Joe Montana last night after watching Mullen’s noodle arm do nothing all night. We need Jimmy back ASAP, I think we can skate by next week but if we don’t have him for the Rams we have no chance.

I have a lot of questions for jimmy...with that said, mullens is trash and so is cj. couple of good games here and there dont change that
but long term, I have a lot of doubts with jimmy.

putting that aside, our oline got bullied something serious today. cant remember the last time Ive seen it dominated this much. mcg looks horrible in pass pro, and trent was bullied like staley did last year vs seattle in the first game

our D always struggles against mobile qbs and considering we had sherman, eman and ahkello all out, we did alright. dontae should never see the field tho. dline is running on fumes too, no ford buckner or bosa really makes it a mediocre ass unit. @feelosofer despite the pick today, al shaair is straight garbage, and he was a target. kwon's flamboyant ass keeps on missing tackles.

this wide 9 REALLY struggles vs mobile qbs, especially without bosa. he could at least try to contain the run outside. dion jordan was looking like a fool out there on those pseudo read options

If this was the same D Line last year we wouldve had 8 sacks and completely shutdown their Offense

In fairness the D-Line did ok all things considered, they sacked Caron Wentz mulitples times it was the linebackers (Fred Warner aside) and safeties (Tartt aside) who looked completely outmatched.

In fact, we can do away with Kwon Alexander next season,he's not worth the money we have paid him.
