Garoppolo’s lowly 15.7 passer rating was reminiscent of outings by Cody Pickett, Ken Dorsey or rookie-year Alex Smith — some of the worst performances this century for a 49ers quarterback. Kyle Shanahan said he pulled Garoppolo because it was clear the right-ankle injury that had kept him out of the last two and a half games was bothering him.

Look guys aren't playing well but why are we now pretending like the roster isn't decimated? We had a practice squad player who granted should have never been in there starting but he was and he gave up 21 points by himself in the first half.
There is no coming back from that. There is no coming back from missing Bosa and Sherman on defense. The offense is now fairly healthy so we should have done a better job on that end but the defense is blown apart and it's probably not going to get much better..
