His acting is almost always on point, he just has no filter for scrips, and will just take a check, that is his MO. I can't remember how many times flipping channels I have seen a moment of him in some D list thriller as a desperate father or a sociopathic maniac. Even higher end roles, he just has no discretion.

Lakeview Terrace was a classic to me, near brilliant movie.
