I was thinking of all the bs we watched during the time. Shows now have character development and arcs but a lot of shows back then were just episodic so it would be about nothing and weird adult overtones that a kid wouldn’t get but a parent supervising would ig to entertain them too. Like catdog for example you gotta think about it there were businessmen in suits pitching a show about a cat and a dog but mixed together nowhere to piss or sħit no logic behind it that was the premise and it got greenlit
