It looked like he had a promising future as the headliner as he had the size and the build. Apparently, the reason why he retired early was because his wife had cancer, so he went tend to her full time.

Maybe it was the steroids, maybe it was a drug/booze problem. Hard to say. His entire career derailed going to WWE, and even after returning to TNA he stayed fat and bloated, lost any and all fire he had in 2002-2005. He's done like 20 matches since his WWE stint, which was over 9 years ago at this point. shyt killed his career entirely.
