What was the last book you read that sucked?

Nothing and I mean nothing happens in this book.

but if you just want to expand your lexicon then this might be a good pick up. I haven't went that hard with my highlighter marker and dictionary since

I seldom read books that are underwhelming. I stick to certain generes so I wont be disappointed.

I usually do that but sometimes I just see something that looks interesting and pick it up.

nah, i don't read garbage books, like dude said in this thread, I usually check reviews or buy something I have an interest in.

This book called The Carthaginian Honor Society. I bought it over ten years ago at Half Price Books, and only read it a few years back. It was the most morally repugnant book I've ever read. It's about some secret black society in Atlanta that sells drugs, does all this extra ish, but they have a female in their group, and they decide to kill cats who aren't treating their women correctly, but their okay with selling drugs

I don't even finish books that I actuall like fukk am I doing wasting time with some bullshyt?

I guess what I would say is these two books I bought at the airport (usually buy books at the airport, read half of them on the plane, and never touch them again). The books were "On the Origin of the Financial Crisis" (needed for a project) and "More Sex is Safer Sex" (some fake ass wannabe Freakonomics)

Why? What made it awful?

the beginning gives you perspective on how people were kidnapped in Africa by their own country men and sold to crackers........

it also gives perpective on the boat ride here........

he just grows into a c00n and his narrative reflects that.....

That sounds ridiculous. I'm most definitely gonna read this.
