My most recent was One Africa Music Fest in Brooklyn back in September. Pretty much all the popular artists on the continent from Wizkid to Diamond Platnumz to Sarkodie all performed there as well as side acts

I enjoyed the event. But there was a lot of middle aged people there for an event geared for young fans.
