What was the point of Lebron playing with a star to bench him in favor of shooters?

Bosh moving out of the paint has to be by design. You really dont want Bosh carrying a big into the paint when your best two players are going to be driving the ball.

I wish they would call some plays for him to go into the post when there is a clear mismatch though.

True, what frustrates me about Bosh.....never really see him fake the shot trying to get people into the air, or get them to hesitate so he can get a few feet closer.

The last couple of wins, his play down low has been strong. He didnt look bad defensively on Duncan. He didnt get beat to much, but Duncan just made some incredible shots.

At the time, I think there was like 2:45 left with Miami up by 2 or 3...they realistically only needed like another bucket or two to really finish the game (They ended up falling apart, and ended up having to COME BACK to win it...but hindsight and all). Wade can still be that "when you absolutely, positively, HAVE to get a bucket" type of dude"....Lebron has the talent but can at times be timid to actually do it. Dude just played his ass off in game 4...you've gotta go with Wade in that situation. And this doesn't even bring up loyalty, morale, etc.

I didn't think that it was a poor sub, looking at the situation. If Wade drove and got a lay-up, the game probably wouldn't have gone to overtime, and we wouldn't be talking about this.

I understand it/always understood it, shooters compliment Lebron's game......but people didn't seem to like that approach in Cleveland, they said he needed to play with a star.

For you guys that thought Lebron teaming with star would help his game more than players who compliment his strengths, what changed?

If Wade was still playing like a star consistently then I could see your point. They had no problem co-existing when Wade was healthy in 2010. They have had not problem co-existing when Wade has shown flashes the last couple of seasons (Indy last year, during the win streak this season, game 7 against Indy this year, game 4 and 5 of this series). However when he's playing like he's looking then yes surrounding Bron with shooters is a better option.

I think the issue is his inability to do this like he used to. The explosion just isn't there and hestruggles to get the ball over the rim on wide open dunks. I agree that Wade has the better late game mindstate however the squad was rolling at that point.

Wade and Bron the same player...same type of game. It's not rocket science.They have always had problems gelling together. The only reason Miami has been sucessful is Wade's willingness(also injury) to defer to Bron. It's crazy how much the Coli shyts on D. Wade but in reality he's the one who's making this work. I dont think i ever seen a player get called flabbyandsick for averaging 20 ppg shootin over 50% throughout the season.

You guys are watching a different series than me. I haven't see Wade try to dominant the ball with Lebron on the court. Dude has passive tendencies, and has been playing like this since the playoff started. Wade has a total of two 20 attempts in the series and including the playoffs. He isn't trying to step on Lebron's toes to remain as the focal point of the offense. I don't know where you kats come from with the crazy notations that Wade feeling insecure about Lebron's dominance.

it would have worked in Cleveland also if Bron had capable/consistent shooters then, he did not unfortunately, only similarity was terrible coaching
