What was the whole point of Dominion suing Fox News if they we’re going to just settle?

$787 million is nothing to sneeze at. But if they were willing to settle for that much, Dominon had them by the balls (pause). They had a chance to literally turn them into UPN status.

The only reason they settled is the possibility that if they win, the judgement would’ve been less, and even if was more or equal, lawyer fees would’ve eaten into the appeals in addition to everything they’ve paid so far.

The firm bought control in the business for $40 million. It’s a home run deal / outcome for them.
