Only focusing on the 3 kings(Halo,Gears,Forza) assuming they'd always be popular without developing other hit IPs at the level. Look at all the studios/IP that died since 360 because they wasn't in the rotation frfr.

People will say kinect & Don Mattrick, but honestly, I think everything Phil Spencer has done has been catastrophic for the brand. Even when it seems like M$ had a rare W like with gamepass, all gampass has done is train Xbox owners to never buy games anymore and just wait until it hits gamepass so even first party stuff sells like ass on Xbox (not to mention gamepass is a bad deal for developers and largely unsustainable as a business model for them). Phil has had over a decade of failure with nothing to show for it. The worst thing Xbox has ever done was not fire him 7-8 years ago when the Xbox division still had autonomy, and they still had a chance to turn things around. But now, after spending like 90 billion aqcriring studios, the eye of M$ CEO Satya is on them, and now their hands are tied, because now he wants a return on that investment. Even if they fired Phil now, they would just replace him with another clueless corporate drone like Sarah Bond, who won't be able to operate with enough freedom to turn things around. It's far too late now:francis:

Fukk Phil breh :pacspit: worst thing to ever happen to Xbox
You're wrong here. It's the Xbox One rollout. That is the point Xbox destroyed all the brand goodwill they had and never recovered.

Game Pass was an attempt to try and differentiate themselves from PlayStation. It was absolutely the right idea. It didn't work to me because unless you're getting it at a huge discount it's just not worth paying for. They never really had the software output to keep people subbed to it long term.

At its core Xbox came on the market and tried to be another PlayStation and the market would rather just have PlayStation. They're like the modern democrats. People don't want fake republicans. They'll just vote republican.

Xbox One reveal & buying ABK seem to be the two major mishaps. :manny:

They gave Sony a layup with the Xbox One.

Nadella has never been a major advocate for Xbox and when you spend $70 billion on something, people take notice.

Should have just stopped with Zenimax/Bethesda. :francis:

? Plex literally has an app on the PS5. Either way this is off topic lol.
The app comes up...but the videos DO NOT PLAY! I've had the same issue on regular PS5 and PS5 Pro. I googled and guess what? This is pretty common among PS5 users.

So you gotta wonder... Sony doing this on purpose cause they don't want you watching free movies. Xbox works cause they don't give a shyt.
