How is this even a question? A rapper not writing his own raps or one that got heated in the moment and removed a diss he wasn't feeling?
If you don't write your own raps your art isn't an expression of anything about yourself at all. It's a product manufactured for you that you're presenting.
Many rappers that diss each other end up squashing it and making songs together. That's basically an apology anyway and it's a staged promotion.
