Mine would be 2000 WCF between Portland and the Lakers. How the fukk do you choke away an easy lead like that? :mindblown:

2016 is obvious, but aside from that it's pretty much the Spurs leading the way
2004 Derrick Fisher 0.4 Shot
2006 WCSF Mavs Comeback
2011 we know the answer to this too, but these lebron fans will run this thread 23 extra pages if I bring it up.
2013 Game 6 choke, 5 point lead with under a minute to go, missed layup, missed FT., Manu Ginobili with 8 turnovers. Ray Allen Shot.

Edit:
I was trying to keep it to after the year 2000, but John Starks shooting 2-18 in the 1994 NBA finals was fukking pitiful worst choke ever by a coach and a player in my opinion.

Pat Riley drew up pitiful catch and shoot plays for him, he missed every last one and Pat refused to sub him out or make another game plan (they went scoreless for 5:20 seconds because of this). Despite the fact that this shooting performance is exactly what made them lose game 1 when Starks shot 3/18.

Leaving starks in the game also led to the defensive lapse where John Starks played off of Vernon Maxwell, Maxwell then hit a 3 and boosted the Rockets lead to 8 with 1:48 to go. Then john starks came back two possessions later and fouled Maxwell who then shot 1/2 and boosted the lead to 78-84.

Finally, John Starks airballed a 3, Rockets caught the rebound, were fouled intentionally and Pat Riley finally drew up a new play, this time for Huber Davis as the shooter, who finally hit a 3 and gave the knicks a FG, but at this point the game was already lost.
