When I was a kid I always hoped that an alien crash landed at my crib and gave me some kinda super armor like that movie Star Kid.

use to imagine i was a Saiyan or kryptonian, use to dribble a basketball and let my mind wonder free, figured out later it was called maladaptive dreaming and it consumed a large part of my time lol, wouldnt trade my head for anything though

but the list goes on really, from a yugioh duelist to a power ranger i had intricate storylines with multiple characters.

I absolutely loved Tony Stark's character after the mid 90s Ironman series.

I'd imagine I could build all sorts of cool mech suits or had fancy technology that could make me fly or shoot beams from my hands. What drew me to him was that he was just a normal guy, unlike Superman who was born with strange alien powers. I love the idea that iron Man could build himself into becoming great.





I think it's part of the reason I embraced tech much later in my adult life.


Of course, you can imagine my extreme disappointment when I learned as an adult that Stark was just a trust fund kid and I couldn't do any of that sht without a small billion dollar loan from my father

50 Cent was crazy to me as a kid. Dude stayed in bulletproof trucks antagonizing people.

i used to draw how my mansion would look, and the only things i wanted was fast food in the mansion, soda "water fountains" and girlfriends

this is as an 6-8 year old

in retrospect i could have asked for a boat too but i didnt think to draw it

looking at the world today, i cant decide if it came true or not but it feels like it did

i was into space as a kid but looking at it now I sometimes wonder if there really is anything to find out there...especially given they havent really discovered everything on Earth
