Why is no one trying to stop this ?

Because the sad reality is they have already won. They won possibly back in 2024 and before already because regardless if Kamala won, these folks have been working for almost 30 years to lay the groundwork for permanent right wing rule on every level. Everytime they got power they slowly put mechanisms in place where even if they lost on the popular vote or at a national level, they control so many parts of the machine they make the opposition ineffective and when they get power on a wide scale again they fortified their stranglehold even further.

Texas being the best example of this. It will serve as the model nationally in other states as well. Despite having a large population of democrats their state government has remained strong right wing for a while. That doesn’t happen unless the system is set up to where even when they lose they win. The redistricting taking place in red states is an example of their solidifying their hold when having power. Now no matter how many votes democrats get in each state the national congress will always remain in republican control. At that point voting is just a formality because you now will never remove them from power.

They have the courts, military, corporate class, and a large segment of an uneducated but angry and violent part of the population who daydream of hanging and killing the opposition. They have completely captured major parts of society and now they are focusing on capturing even the cultural centers of society to mold them to their will such as media and education.

The only solution is a true grassroots organization and/or non-legal solution. They no longer care about doing things the legal way. This guy, a judge, proudly claims he will illegally keep black people from having political power and he isn’t one bit sorry about it or have any fear of negative consequences. This is the opposition and strong stern words don’t work when dealing with this.



10 years ago there may have been legit consequences for things as in the DOJ would have brought a civil rights lawsuit. Do you imagine that happening now? No because things have gotten comparatively worse regardless of what some people say. He is just getting civilly sued which is a step down from a federal case.
