Many in New York are wildly delusional in where many feel like winning out there means like it meant back in the 50's all the way up through the 90's.

Not to say that winning a chip for the Knicks won't mean anything, but for LeBron in particular it isn't that big a deal. The run in Miami kinda proved that, he needed to win one for the land.

The Yankees spoiled us rotten. I'd seen 4 World Series parades before my 12th birthday . Then my dad raised us islanders fans and they had 5 straight trips to the Stanley cup finals and won the first 4 from 1980-1984. Still waiting on them to make it back. They're the only team I follow that I haven't seen go all the way

Like i always say people who are prone to hate will always find a reason to do just that. I'm a firm believer that some people have been raised in environements that taught them to hate by default. Remember Jordan had his haters too and they were sometimes far more venimous than LeBron haters but Jordan's marketing machine was far more powerful than their voices + there waas no social media.

Where are you encountering this fan base? On the coli its 50/50 with Chicago making a new plat lebron hating thread daily and almost everyone else in the middle of the spectrum. You on real gm or somewhere else? There are actually people on here who deny that the warriors are a better team or are favored in Vegas and Monaco and with NJ bookies and just about everywhere that people bet money on sports outcomes.
