Salary? How much more? Closer travel distance? How much closer? :ld:

I ask cuz I like my job and its a family atmosphere so they act like they NEED me but I need more money yall! :damn: I only been here a few weeks and they say its bout to get real busy. A dude just got fired and I'm doing a lot more work w/ no raise with increased responsibility.

I feel bad for looking... but money talks.

25% base increase, 25% bonus increase, i'd def leave here. may sound like a lot but after being here 10 years i've reached a point of "comfort" that couldn't possibly be matched at a new place so that would require some comp. majority of the jobs in my current field are in manhattan and i live in the burbs so if there was a small chance i could find something that wouldn't require an nyc commute i'd definitely cut those requirements.

i pretty much come and go as i please here, i can go to the gym in the middle of the day, i can leave early when i need to, i get 30+ vacation days and use them all, i get paternity (additional), i get moving days (additional), i get bereavement days (additional), my medical/dental coverage are amazing and cheap, they match 50% of my 401k contribution. like i said, for me to shake that all up and start as the "new guy" somewhere i need some cashish.

I work in a public service (all day in the city hall pretending to be working).

Cheap ass job. But I'm trying to enter in the comic book industry (yeah I draw).

Once I have a opportunity, I'll leave this shyt.
