He talked to them after the fact, most of them.. He started calling himself King in 2002. It's not like he was calling 3 stacks and saying "Hey I'm a new rapper with an average album that flopped, Is it okay to call myself King?"
The point was that, the whole "king spirit" and whatever the fukk, has become or perhaps has always been irrelevant. The only thing it sparks is conversation, that was what it did with T.I. It was a controversial statement, but only fans gave a fukk.
And as I mentioned in this case it's even worse, cause Kendrick is not a street dude. Non-street dudes beefing are never taken seriously, they are just entertaining. I mentioned Tips statements cause he claimed king over mad states, like 140 million people. States he is not from. Claiming king of south means that he's king of Texas, Florida, Louisiana, Tennessee and on. All completely different states in every single way except belong to the confederate states and generally being republican.

At the end of the day, the points your're trying to make is null because T.I. is from the south, breh. T.I. saying he the King of the South is a lot different than him saying he the King of the West Coast or East Coast.

King of the south, still means that he's king of multiple states. States in which he's not from.

Its not insulting to call yourself king of any of those cities until u actually call yourself that shyt...same way king of NY ain't mean shyt until a viable nikka called himself that,same way king of the south ain't mean shyt til a viable nikka call himself that.....the jealousy and feeling of bein slighted would manifest itself in those citys only if a viable nikka said it....king of atl is completley irrelevant right now but if sumbody like Future or 2chainz all of a sudden start pushin they self as that,I'm pretty sure nikkas would start to feel some type of way...then from then on out that title would mean sumthin long as there's possible kings in the mix

And I don't know about Lupe and Joe Budden, they are not from New York, they are not new and they are not top 5. So nothing Kendrick said had anything to do with them. But he said that this was hiphop and talked about competition, so he can get anything that comes his way.
He said he was going to take someones fans, I'm not expecting that any friendship will change. Just cause he mentioned their names and quoted Kurupt.. That was more of a sign of respect, a challenge for the number #1 spot to those nikkas than a real diss. Which is why, everyone who was mentioned responded with some entertaining tweet or something. And might respond with some entertaining bars in the future.
So I ask again what are you saying? What's the argument? That you think it was a vicious diss and that I don't? Or what are you talked about?
