What would happen if ANY NY artist ever went to ATL, MIA, HOU, LA, NO, or OAK and claimed king?

Yeah that was at the Jack the rapper convention in Miami. Luke and those Posion clan nikkas wanted no beef.

I don't think anyone cares, just like in NY.
New York is only the irrelevant dogs tryna catch some buzz..

So yeah, irrelevant artists might respond or feel some type of way.
The street dudes are not worried about a non-street dude like Kendrick and the normal people are too busy giving a fukk about their life than taking entertainment to the heart. Kendrick being such a non-threatning/non-street rapper is important in this question. It would be a completely different thing if Jeezy said what he said.

T.I claimed king of the south when he had nothing but one average album. And only Lil Flip cared.

Perhaps cats in dusty ass cities would care, idk..

1. T.I. was actually from the south.
2. That nikka was spitting that fire.
3. He talked to actual legends in the South (OutKast, Scarface, Goodie Mob, UGK, 8Ball/MGJ, etc.) before he made that claim.

He talked to them after the fact, most of them.. He started calling himself King in 2002. It's not like he was calling 3 stacks and saying "Hey I'm a new rapper with an average album that flopped, Is it okay to call myself King?"

The point was that, the whole "king spirit" and whatever the fukk, has become or perhaps has always been irrelevant. The only thing it sparks is conversation, that was what it did with T.I. It was a controversial statement, but only fans gave a fukk.

And as I mentioned in this case it's even worse, cause Kendrick is not a street dude. Non-street dudes beefing are never taken seriously, they are just entertaining. I mentioned Tips statements cause he claimed king over mad states, like 140 million people. States he is not from. Claiming king of south means that he's king of Texas, Florida, Louisiana, Tennessee and on. All completely different states in every single way except belong to the confederate states and generally being republican.

T.I sayin he the king of the south is broad as fukk and I wasn't even feelin that...but either way it's completely different when u target a specific city on a coast ur not even from and try to claim to be king of it...ESPECIALLY a place like NY...Kendrick knew wtf he was doin..he a grown man and he knew how nikkas would take it...nikkas need to let him fight his battles and stop taking up for him...how u gonna mention a nikka city and mention nikkas by name and say u wanna make sure u snatch all they core fans from em and nikkas STILL try to act like that ain't a shot and it's just showin love?...da fukk is wrong wit hip hop these days?...as long as it ain't violence..Kendrick invited whatever comes to him...and I don't feel sorry for him especially the way he fukked Big Sean over to get attention on some selfish shyt..

At the end of the day, the points your're trying to make is null because T.I. is from the south, breh. T.I. saying he the King of the South is a lot different than him saying he the King of the West Coast or East Coast.

Rap music is entertainment and people are letting rappers entertain us, no need for hostility or wild disses on some 2pac shyt.

He claimed king of cali, king of NY, it was just rhymes summing up to being king of hiphop.
ALSO, it was bitten straight of Kurupt referencing the EC vs WC beef.

"Lay where you die, never wake up die where you lay
It's hard to survive nikka or the high where you stay
I'm important like the Pope, I'm the king of New York
I'm live from South Central, I'm a Muslim on pork"

And really saying that you are gonna make such good music that you will take all these rappers fans is not some vicious strike. It's just some good trash talk with some poetry to it. Like a boxer saying he's gonna knock out another boxer, which he's supposed to.

King of the south, still means that he's king of multiple states. States in which he's not from.

It's different but both are disrespectful, and it was just a small sidetrack of my post.

U would get the :what: then probaly shytted on on some level just bcuz nikkas know u tryna be disrespectful:ufdup:

Its not insulting to call yourself king of any of those cities until u actually call yourself that shyt:heh:...same way king of NY ain't mean shyt until a viable nikka called himself that, same way king of the south ain't mean shyt til a viable nikka call himself that.....the jealousy and feeling of bein slighted would manifest itself in those citys only if a viable nikka said it....king of atl is completley irrelevant right now but if sumbody like Future or 2chainz all of a sudden start pushin they self as that,I'm pretty sure nikkas would start to feel some type of way...then from then on out that title would mean sumthin long as there's possible kings in the mix:manny:....what's funny is kendrick sayin it hold more weight than if certain NY nikkas said it:laff:...if papoose had said it he woulda simply got a :childplease:....the fact kendrick got outrage says alot:youngsabo:

Who says he doesn't deserve it? Are we not allowed to discuss it cause he can handle his own? What are you even saying?
And I don't know about Lupe and Joe Budden, they are not from New York, they are not new and they are not top 5. So nothing Kendrick said had anything to do with them. But he said that this was hiphop and talked about competition, so he can get anything that comes his way.

He said he was going to take someones fans, I'm not expecting that any friendship will change. Just cause he mentioned their names and quoted Kurupt.. That was more of a sign of respect, a challenge for the number #1 spot to those nikkas than a real diss. Which is why, everyone who was mentioned responded with some entertaining tweet or something. And might respond with some entertaining bars in the future.

So I ask again what are you saying? What's the argument? That you think it was a vicious diss and that I don't? Or what are you talked about?
