What would it take for people to support the Green Party?

I think all it would take is education and I don't mean college, I mean just more knowledge on political issues.
What do you think it would take for folks to join the Green Party?

Do you think people are just complacent with the two-party system?

If I were less educated I wouldn't cast a vote for the Greens.

Realism is a real inhibiter for the Greens as well so if there's something we can about that.

TBH, the Greens seem too niche for me. I only voted for them because BOTH major party candidates sucked. Also, they are more to the far-left than I am. They need a restructuring because as of right now they will attract just a small portion of people. Stein did terrible this election.

Well when you are not in the right/left, the mainstream media will give you as little air time as possible. The left/right candidates receive far far more coverage and it's not even close compared to the D and R.

The media is a fight in itself just to obtain coverage. Lot of Americans had no idea there were alternative choices.

She's more far-left, how so?

I know how the media is controlled, but she should have done more. Also, she didn't even get some of the same people that endorsed Bernie to endorse her. Even though I voted for her it seemed niche.

Stein is awful. Also they need to do more on a local level and be less accommodating to weirdo conspiracy people because a lot of Nazis/anti-Semites etc use that as a means of entry. That's actually been a big problem on the left in the past 15 years or so.

Why do you think she's awful or not a good candidate?

Win something locally instead of swinging at the White House and stealing democratic votes.

They should go really, really hard on three or 4 major issues. Move their operating centers into the upper northeast where independents are and win locally until they gather a solid foundation.

Environment/Clean energy
Black Lives Matter
College tuition

Use that until you gain good footing in swing states. These are the issues millennials love. Unfortunately if you are a democrat, the rise of the Green Party will come at your expense. The good thing is if you are an open minded democrat you will have 2 legit parties to choose your candidate from. I can't imagine them being relevant for the next 6 or 7 cycles though unless the have lots of black candidates leading their party. Baraka would have done a lot for the party's visibility if he were the nominee and not Jill.
