This is an interesting question. I don't watch anymore and thinking back on it, what made me stop was the combination of lack of interest in "what comes next" (both stories and wrestlers featured) and wrestling matches just not hitting on a level that made watch despite not liking the booking.
It was a long ass process to be honest, I couldn't point to one thing in particular besides pointing out people I didn't really care for (Rollins, Owens, Balor, etc.) being the chosen ones to carry the product weekly and realizing that without D-Bry, I could live with just catching up with results and check shyt out via Youtube/illegal stream when something seemed interesting on paper.
By the time Roman become a heel and started to carry the company with the Bloodline stuff, I was already out as a weekly viewer and was more than OK with just checking stuff up after the shows (or just wait till the big recaps on youtube). I basically missed this whole boom they had in the past 3 years as a live experience (with only very few exceptions) and was fine with it

. I've probably watched less than 1% of WWE's product in the past 3-4 years.
