I would trade Deron for some prospect and/or draft picks. He's not a franchise player

Breh...ain't nobody giving up that..,.hes also 29 years old now...the nets either need to win with what they have or just ride it out whole at the same time only adding rookie/cheap contracts,

A team that feels they're a piece or two away would trade their future assets away.

Look at the Nets for example :bryan:

Unless it's the Knicks or rockets (Lin,asik) he won't be a hot commodity.
Well I agree he's not a hot commodity but he's more worthless being the main player on a bad to mediocre team. You could have said the same thing about Joe Johnson and look what the Hawks got for him

None of those teams have assets to offer. Asik is overvalued and Lin is terrible value.

Nets need to keep joe and lopez and try to get rid or KG and Piru. AK is the only one worth value due to his contract.

All it takes is one idiot. I wouldn't be surprised to see Sacramento trade a top 3 protected 1st for Deron and give up someone like Rudy Gay. They seem to love stupid trades and their active. I can't see them trading a top 3 pick tho but something like New Orleans traded for Jrue. It's unlikely but possible.

They wouldn't give up rudy...they'd give you Marcus Thornton and Jason Thompson and a protected 1st...dwill isn't that valued most teams have a pg now and even though joe johnson has a bad contract he was always durable. Of the teams who need PGs most would rather just draft one.only teams who would want dwill is Houston, Atlanta, Dallas, Knicks....and i doubt Atlanta would been give up Teague.

The kings have actually made 2 good trades this season.

LA is not trading Pau for Pierce.

they shoulda BEEN trying to make a run at Gasol back when his stock was dropping in LA and the Lakers were trying to move him and Odom. Pau's bytchassness in the playoffs (when rumors about his GF came out) had folks in LA ready to riot because he wasnt putting up numbers. A new situation might be what it takes to put him back in everyone's mouth again (no homo)

I'd be shocked if they don't start shopping this whole team by the end of January.

If Billy has any sense he trades KG and Pierce for whatever he can get, it's clear those 2 don't want to be here. Dipped out the locker room again Monday to avoid the media.

Joe is untradeable until 2015 when his contract is an expriring, unless some other GM has brain damage and wants him.

Deron says all the right things, but the injuries and inconsistency are getting crazy. I'd float him and see what GM's would offer, but I'm not moving him for 50 cents on the dollar.

Brook is the only guy I don't want gone, he's had terrible luck with his foot but I'm not giving up on him yet.

As for the bench, I'm not dealing anyone there unless someone overpays. They don't affect our cap issues so trading them for spare parts don't make sense, but if you could get a 1st or a nice prospect then we gotta do it.

Problem is Billy King is retarded and only knows how to cause harm to an NBA organization, so we will prolly make some shytty deal for Asik or Boozer and overpay like crazy just to try and save the Titanic that is our season.

I would just trade everyone for picks/expirings.
Deron to Houston for Lin; Asik, and 1st.
Everyone else for picks/expirings

King needs to be fired.

Like I said not much you can do for the nets. The nets have the worst situation in basketball...the Knicks can at least get good value for Melo and chandler...
