  • you weren't a SUPERSTAR...1 all star game / 1 pro bowl
  • you had a 8/9 year NBA career, or a 5/6 year NFL career
  • you have about 1 million dollars saved, with a small mortgage [nothing scary]
  • you have 3 kids
  • 1 of the kids is about to be in college [might get a scholarship, might not]
  • you have a wife and the marriage...is ok
What would YOUR post nfl or nba life be?

would you be Jamal Mashburn, Jalen Rose, or Ryan Leaf?

Coaching. College coaches get paid pretty good. :manny: 1 milly isn't too bad for a savings, but I would want to maintain a good level of income. 3 kids is a lot. Enough to wipe out half the savings in 10 years.

Since I'm handsome and intelligent probably see what the networks are talking about. See of they're ready to come out those pockets.
If not be a HS coach. Help these young black kids out here.

shyt I might just be a PE teacher and coach at the local high school. Money wouldn't be great but I'd have summers off and time for my Kids. A Mil in savings can still go along way. :manny:

Invest in business.. make my money work for me instead of me having to do anymore work. Play some golf, maaaaybe coach at the local high school or something. But if I'm retiring at 35 I ain't trying to do any heavy lifting.

for basketball, i'd keep playing overseas and soak up knowledge
then get into coaching when i hit 40 or so
so many opportunities- basketball is a global game

if it was football, i'd walk away and get a straight job in the workforce
too many ex-footballers

What a fukking loser post.

What would you do with a life you will never live. WHAT WOULD YOU DO BREHS!

This what you spend your days thinking about? The professional career you`ll never have and what to do after this non-existent career.
