I knowingly used shady tax preparer and somehow had “falsified” business losses on my 2019 & 2020 returns. . . and did it again in 22 AFTER they contacted me about the descripancies. I figured I could hide behind the fact that someone else was doing my taxes, but found out that was not the case.

I had to pay them their money back and he more than likely is going to sit down for a little while.
