Medieval times were 600 years ago...where do you think we'll be in 600 years from today? Will we make it that far? :lupe:

I read somewhere that the sun will burn out in like 4 and a half billion years, but that it'll heat up enuff in like 2.8 billion years to kill all lifeforms on earth. I also remember seeing something that another galaxy will colide with ours somewhere in the same time frame, I may be remembering that part incorrectly though.

I'm sure humans will be extinct by then anyways though.

Ill give it no more than a centuries time, before this current secular empire is destroyed and thus concluding earths final chapter. Things just may get a little out of hand between now and then

Well. Truth is, I have no idea. You could look at it from multiple religious perspectives and estimate when doomsday will occur, but the problem with that is that calculations are always wrong.. Which is to be expected, considering most of these religions are governed by humans and not by Higher Beings itself. Humans are filled with imperfections and errors.

On the other hand, you can also look at it from the perspective of the current state of humanity. One could argue that if we continue our wars and exhaust our natural minerals and wildlife, the human race could die out a lot sooner than most would expect. That's not even including diseases. Personally, I don't think it'll go out in our lifetimes, however that depends on where the world heads in the next few years. And since science is working on extending the human lifespan, this could be a more important issue if folks end up dying at 500 years old or so.

There are a number of volcanoes all over the world that are OVERDUE to errupt and flood the atmosphere with ash and other chemicals.

600 years is being really generous IMO, and that's if we don't kill off everything we need to survive already.

If I have children, there are tigers, rhinos, and elephants that will likely not exist by the time they are my age right now. They will straight up be extinct.
