During t the fall last year details emerged regarding him recording a new album. He doesn't seem like the type of cat who wants the pop fame from airhead pop fans. So instead is doing a bunch of features and attending a bunch of airhead events. He pops up in random places whether it's in the studio with Beyonce, Beach Boys members and on.

You don't know what singing means since professionals, old and new seem to think that he can think. It's like the funny people who have heard Marvin Gaye so they think Paul McCartney can't sing cause he sounds differently. Besides that he's a fantastic song writer and lyricist.
