Aka during a struggle or emergency
I was thinking 10,000$ to 20,000$
6 months to a year advance of your rent, utilities and other various bills/expenses.
That's almost 10 racks depending on how luck your rent/Bill's is
I don't know your situation but do ya math muthafukka
$250,000 bare minimum, really $500,000 to be honest
Broke nikkas shouldn’t even be allowed to sign up here, bringing all that negative broke nikka energy
i like to say 3-6 months of income (not just rent and expenses). Obviously that amount is dependent on uiuthe situation.
Anywhere from 3k to about 10k
Since I’m going to live in Florida again once I have at least 5k personally I’ll be Gucci but I’m aiming for 10k myself
I feel like TI in ATL the way I’m saving paper
I like to keep a buffer of 3 months at least, been like that for years. As a I am a contractor there is always a chance the right role does not come about, so I like to know I have good fair amount put away.
At least 3 months worth of living expenses, but a year is ideal.
I did. It came to be over 7,000 that's six months of rent
nikkas ain't got 250-500k put up bro
Thats smart thinking ahead
Thinking on the $20k to 25k side myself.
Stays raining in today's climate. Gotta prepare.
It depends on your situation.
An emergency fund is suppose to protect yourself from job loss. I'm a permanent government employee so there is almost zero chance I'll ever get fired.
And since I rent, my emergency fund is really just for car repairs. If you have a house then add home repairs to that.
4 months of extra income should be alright unless you're just a irresponsible stupid b*stard.
