you dont need a mac @BrothaZay , but if you serious you might as well invest in that, a gaming laptop, a razor , or a modern Think Pad (Yes producers use these) even

If you only got a few hundred dollars, you can forget about video editing. Just get you a laptop with atleast an 5th generation Intel i3 processor for beat making. You can get something on eBay for under or a little over $300. I copped an Asus laptop with a 5th gen i3, 6gb ram and 500gb of storage for under $300 on eBay last year.
