What's your budget and use case (color, black and white, photos, scanner, etc.)?

If you're already in the process of upgrading I'd suggest spending extra money and get a laser printer. The toner lasts much longer and is cheaper than ink. Ink is crazy expensive if you go through it frequently.

I have a Brother 2270DW laser printer that I got for 60 a long time ago, but it's wired and monochrome and probably wouldn't meet your needs. It's awesome though and prints fast as hell.

get laser printer my dude. Trust me the more expensive price upfront is worth it. You'll save more money in the long run. With ink you have to replace all the time while I haven't replaced my toner for my laser for 2 years...

I work for Epson breh as a RSA. Buy the one you have the picture in the OP.

It has "print-shop" quality, this means the texture of black and color that comes out when you print is very precise and sharp :banderas:

anything else you wanna know ask me

$100 max, use is just regular printing for reports. No pics or anything major.

I have that printer. It's trash. Go Brother or HP laser.

Don't listen to him :camby:

You can also print from your ipad, iphone, tablets and smartphone and you can scan to Facebook and Cloud. Scanning to Facebook can come in handy for when they have "Throwback Thursday" on FB.

I'm not sure if you know the difference but when it comes to Epson printers basically there are 2 kinds..."Expression" printers and "Workforce" printers.

The one you have pictured in the OP obviously states Expression

Expression are usually for low volume work and is for printing things like emails, photos, word documents, and online. Basically the basic stuff of the average user.

The "Workforce" printers are high volume and for printing things like brochures, spreadsheets, and things of that sort. Great for people who have small businesses.

Yes laser is alot better than color printers.

This one costs $80 and has auto 2 sided printing which is the main difference from the one in the OP. It also has a photo and a DVD tray. Those are the 2 main differences compared to the one in the OP.

Props breh. So yeah the expression one sounds like it's right up my alley. I googled and laser jets are generally only black and white. I don't print color really at all and it's cheaper to print on the laser...but the ink jets are cheaper up front ... Decisions

Breh you just inspired me to make an "Epson" alias on the coli :lolbron:

And that isn't really true, laser jets do come in color also. No matter which brand, whether Epson, HP, Brother, Canon, etc

But the color ones cost more it seems. In tryna stay under $80-100

I don't know if you know this already but i wanted to double check before you buy it and i get blamed. Just remember this does not have faxing on it. Its for printing, scanning and copying.
