Sunday estimates was off a milly. It made 58 million. Great for WB. We needed this(I work for them). 1# studio this year so far, even beating Disney.
What a rollercoaster ride for De Luca and Abdy. Weapons should eat next month. Still a little nervous for OBAA, but feel way better about it than I did months ago. Newest trailer seemed to connect a lot for folks at my theater. With you working for WB, I’m curious what the air currently is like there surrounding that film.

PTA’s stuff don’t usually turn a profit and I’m not expecting that to change, but if it gains enough critical acclaim that warrants serious discussion come awards season then that would be a big dub for the crew and WB. I’d assume that’s the biggest reason they took a swing on this in the first place. Either way, I’m gon eat. Genuinely one of the best filmmakers to ever do it.

I work in the broadcast distribution division. I'm not in the film department, but the stock affects us all the same(for now).
The Superman rollout at work was crazy insane. Lots of food and games in the company. They gave us all free t shirts and free early tickets to see the flick at a variety of theatres at certain times. Coolest thing so far, was having Coogler speak in our "All hands" meeting.

I expect it do well, especially with not much competition coming in the upcoming weeks.
You might be right. Im biased i guess because it looks wack to me. I think F4 tops out at 225 to 250 domestically but yeah the non competition could give it legs and maybe it makes closer to 300 or over but i have my doubts.
