Miz. And the subsequent Miz promos where he shyt on Dolph.

Promo is short for promotion, what was this promoting?

If this would have results in some money being made, I could count it because it was intense.

Hogan was a great "Promo" because

"This Sunday at SummerSlam... Blah blah blah"

Thus Promoting SummerSlam. A Promo is the wrestler selling the event. I don't know how that changed to going out and speaking for 30 minutes. So dumb.

Miz had some great ones leading up to No Mercy. Miz one of the best today all around, and he coulda been dope in any era. We need more Miz' in the Business.

Of course they were ignored because we dont like faces in the IWC.

Goldberg's return deserves mention. It was from the heart and authentic. Dude will never be known as a mic magician but look at his eyes once he got rolling, that night in that moment in that ring he knew he was Goldberg and he wanted a piece of Brock Lesnar

I'd counter that argument and say they were promoting the show Talking Smack. This video was everywhere the next day which put eyes on their after show

High-key, Talking Smack stays with the heat. Even Corbin had him a promo.

... but one that may end up overlooked in this thread is the one where Dean and AJ faced off on Smackdown before Backlash AJ beat Dean for the title.

Dean gave AJ a bowling participation trophy or something, but I remember him mentioning that the trophy would be the closest he'd get to a championship because they don't give them to "the face that comes in 2nd place."
