There is pretty much nothing left for him from a creative standpoint. Like all the other posters said, he's better off doing a traditional hip-hop album, but unfortunately that won't happen.

I had a discussion with someone on Twitter about this. He was hoping Em would do an honest-to-god concept album and I told him I don't think Em is capable of it. I mean his last major single was "Guts Over Fear", which was all about how he has nothing left to say.

Personally, I would love to hear Em do a straight up Hip-Hop album. The last Em joint I loved was "Don't Front", and if he made an album of joints like that, I'd probably love it.

what he needs or should do is completely different to what i think he WILL do. you know he's just gonna put those same bullshyt songs out, the same song with Rihanna like you said, the same old yelling triple time off beat flow.

i've said it a lot of times on here, but he SHOULD drop all the bullshyt and do a straight up Hip Hop album. make it a double album, one disc is just all him spitting over beats like Premo, Dre, Marco Polo, Exile, Alchemist, etc the other disc should have features with all his idols & legends. Kane, Treach, Redman, G Rap, Ice-T, LL, all the dudes he's always talking about in speeches.

That would be a dope concept

Eminem doesn't even really make Recovery type music anymore , I'm not even sure how to describe his new sound , basically just a Bizzaro version of himself

I don't know, when I think about the modern Eminem sound, it really started with Recovery. The message of "Not Afraid" was familiar territory, but sonically, it sounded different. It didn't have the "I make fight music, for high school kids" mentality that songs like "'Till I Collapse" and "Sing for the Moment" did. It sounded a lot more mainstream, like it was meant specifically to move units. Then you have the Rihanna collaboration, something that would have never happened in the Dre/Bass Brothers era, and it ended up leading to whatever he's doing now.
