What's Good with DLC Sharing on PS4 Brehs?

I know many probably haven't experienced this yet because most people only have 1 PS4 in their homes at the moment. But my brother and I tried sharing that China Rising DLC for BF4 and we found out that it's not exactly the same as it was on PS3.



On PS3 you could share DLC content between 2 consoles (it used to be 5). All you had to do was create your account on the consoles that you wanted to download the content on and go to your download list and download it to the console and every account on the system had that DLC. I'm assuming that this isn't the case anymore.

My bro downloaded the maps on his PS4 under my username. He goes to his account after it completes the download and he can't access the maps. He wasn't able to access them until he Activated my account on his PS4. And here's another thing that's weird. On PS3 you could activate multiple consoles, on PS4 it appears that you can only activate 1 console at a time... and before you activate 1 you have to deactivate the other

It's retarded because say for instance you go over a friend's crib and you want to download something on their PS4 so they can try it out... you can't even do that unless you deactivate your console at your house prior to doing so.

I thought sharing was going to be the same as it was on PS3 brehs? What is this shyt?

I can confirm that it's not brehs.

My brother has a PS4 and I have a PS4. He can't play BF4's China Rising DLC on his console unless he activates my PSN ID on it. But when he does that, my console has to be deactivated. Only thing I can think of, is if Sony is counting the number of PS3 that are activated as well, but that doesn't make sense.

mafukka game companies was giving away map packs and shyt since Quake 2 days as a to the fans for buying and supporting their game

now they release shyt that has 4 new maps (map packs used to be like 6-8 free maps + character model skins + 2-3 new guns or whatever... for free ) and 2 new guns and it costs $30

mafukking diablo 3 expansion is charging $40... $40 FORTY DOLLARS for ONE new map and ONE new class

im looking at the new features like it took you 2 years to do this

surely im missing something that is worth the $40 to upgrade right... I mean.. im looking at the buy button for $40 FORTY DOLLARS like

The way this is set up now basically means in order to play ANY of your DLC that you download under your account you have designate the console as your primary console... oh and to make matters more inconvenient you can't just activate a console before deactivating the other.

So if you have 2 consoles, you can only play your DLC content/games on which ever console is deemed as your primary, the shyt is garbage. Can't go from 1 room to the other and just play your shyt because you have to deactivate one console beforehand

That is probably why they did it with the ps3, but seeing how people were using it to share with friends they decided to cut it. At least that's what I think
