:heh: got em

on a serious note it's worth it imo. small, light, portable, easy on the eyes and if you have prime you get access to free books. been rocking with mine for a few years.
How did he get me when this is a forum, you know, requires you to read to participate? I'm known for reading and writing more than everyone else but...somehow that gets missed :smugbiden:

Now what type of books does Amazon offer with prime? And I'm sure you can add books in other ways as well, right :youngsabo:(without going thru too much trouble)
I know he has one, we spoke on it in another thread, i know he endorses this. Just wanted the communities feelings on it now and if there are any deals before I scoop

It's absolutely worth it.

And mind you, I'm a BIG fan of reading physical books... It's a pride thing. I love when people see me on the train and are like "oh shyt, what's that about?"

I have NEVER liked kindle reading.

But that kindle paperwhite was a necessary since I'm literally running out of space to store my books. I've fallen in love w/ it.

It's great on your eyes, you can taba nd take the notes that you need without compromising the integrity of the book.

you can rent any one book, magazine or newspaper a month. it's a good deal since amazon has damn near every book. and i've heard you can add books by simply dragging and dropping it after connecting your kindle to a PC. i've never done it personally tho:mjpls:

i love reading physical books as well. finishing them and then putting it on my bookshelf and seeing the collection is something i take honor in. kind of egotistical and shallow but whatever. i've been using my kindle more because i ran out of space on my two bookshelves and adding a third would take up too much space.

After having the DX for so long, I just can't myself going down to a 6" reader, but most of the time I'm reading tech docs and PDFs. Every year I wait to see if they are going to bring it back. :mjcry:

But for standard book reading, I would cop one.
