I was at the gym today and was thinking about how competitive dating is when you turn 30, especially if you're single and never married. I also thought how hard it would be if I was flabby and not making decent money. Seems like everyone is shooting for the stars when it comes to dating nowadays. You damn near have to have looks, money and charisma to do well in the dating game. I don't get most of the women i want, but I've done well. How hard is it for someone who's 30 + years old, out of shape, working at a callcenter or something, to find a good mate and have a happy life?

It'll be much tougher for a flabby + sick 30-year old man (assuming he was bad job prospects, bad finances, etc.). The flabby + sick 30-year old woman will act like she can compete with hot, young women while rejecting anybody who doesn't meet her "standards" (even though her SMV is decreasing by the second(.

Flabby and sick is never good but mouthpiece and permanent beer goggles go a long way. I know a dude who is what u would call flabby and sick but his lack of standards keep him eating good and he's a player in his own mind. Reality only exists in our minds so ultimately dude is a player pulling mad dimes.

After 30, it's harder for women. A dude can send 100 job applications out and maybe hear back from somebody. Women have to wait for applications to come in, and that's a much longer game. And if you're not trying to take care of anyone else's kids, or carry some extra baggage...
